ISAAC PSALM ESCOTO AKA SICKID
POST SHOW VOL. 2
Born 1998 in Los Angeles, CALives and works in Los Angeles, CA
At just 14, Isaac Psalm Escoto began painting graffiti under the name Sickid, developing a visual language shaped by alternative comics, cartoons, skateboard graphics, Los Angeles street culture, and the Catholic iconography of his youth. After dropping out of the ArtCenter College of Design in 2018, Escoto forged his own path - spending his days painting in the studio and his nights transforming abandoned billboards, buildings, and city walls into vibrant works of art. His practice fuses the classical techniques he studied in school with the raw immediacy of graffiti, blending meticulous brushwork, bold mark-making, and airbrushing. The result is a body of work that's visually striking, emotionally charged, and unmistakably his own.
